Happy 10 Months Titus!

Yes he is 10 months old today!Time flies by when you have children. (it did before kids too, but its a different kind of fast) Titus is a giant smile in our family. He loves people and will go out of his way to make someone smile. Of course, all he has to do is look at you with those beautiful blue eyes and grin! Anyone's heart will melt...He now has 6 teeth, wants to walk in the worst way, and has his eyes on conquering the stairs. EEK!!!! One of his favorite things to do is jump in his crib and scream "UP"...or play with the children in the nursery at church. Next week, he gets to go on his 1st family vacation! Yeah!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Actually, it is now a belated Thanksgiving...Time is flying by and I can't believe Christmas is only 22 days away! We had a very nice and quiet Thanksgiving with the Charlie's parents. We ate great food, played card games, and watched TV. Does it get any better...no I don't think so. I hope your Thanksgiving was awesome. Don't stress out about Christmas. Don't forget to take the time to see the people who need to be loved around you. Even if that means someone you don't know. HAPPY THANKSGIVING

What Happened to Yesterday??

I've been pondering alot of things the last few weeks. One of them is what happened to yesterday? Another words where in the world has time gone? One of my sweet grandmas has falling a couple of times this year and has lead to some serious health complications. This is indeed sad to us. She is doing the best she can, but it made me realize that she isn't the spring chicken I remember her as when I was a child. Where did the time go? When did we all grow up and start having babies? Aren't we still in school? When did my parents become grandparents 3 times over??? I am an AUNT!! What?! I am 3 month shy of 31...when did this happen? I have a son who is now 9 months old! Time doesn't fly by....or does it?? We get the same amount of minutes as we did as children;how come it seems like the days go by faster? My grandparents are great grandparents...my parents are grandparents...and I am now a mom. I have bumped up a generation! I am the fun aunt now...the mom now...the one who has to do things with small children. As I look at Titus and kiss his cute little check I cherish each moment I have with him because one day I will blink and I'll be the grandparent (eek!!!!) I have been reading through Ecclesiastes and was reminding that to everything there is a season under the sun. So let me encourage you in this...take the time to call that someone,to hug your children, to fix a relationship, to kiss a little longer, and just smile because so many people don't feel loved in this world! Yesterday is gone and even though we aren't promised tomorrow its still right around the corner. Ready or not cherish what is right here today! Because it could be gone in a blink of an eye!!

Labor Day

This Labor day we went to a local park/beach. We tried to get Titus to like the water but he was not having any of it. Our friends the Morales came along. They have a baby girl named Kopper and her and Titus are great friends.

Weekend full of weddings!

This weekend Charlie and I knew of 6 people getting married. 3 in which we were invited to. :D One I got to have the honor of standing up in. My beautiful friend Nicole married her soul mate Joe on Saturday. At the same time as some very dear friends Chelsea and Evan got married. We couldn't make their wedding but our hearts and prayers were with them. The final one was my friend Crystals wedding which was so beautiful! All 3 made very lovely brides!! We wish them all the best on their new chapters in their lives. Here are some pictures of the weddings

Dinner cruise

For my parents 31st anniversary and Charlie's birthday we went on a wonderful dinner cruise in A.Bay.

The food was good and the company was great!! Plus, it was the same weekend as the super moon so it added to the wonderful boat ride! I love spending time with my parents!

Softball Season comes to an end...

This Summer Charlie and I decided that he should play on our church softball team. It was good exercise for Charlie and a great way for us to get more connected in the church. Our team was the 2nd New Life team. The 1st team was made up of all original players who came back last year, so our team was a hodge-podge of guys and girls. It was a great time and we are sad to see the season end. We met alot of great guys and gals that not only serve Jesus but serve in our Army. We loved hearing their stories and listening to the bond they have for one another. We look forward to seeing some of them return next year, and sad to see others move on. New Life 2 it was great to meet you and Charlie and I love every friendship we have made! (For the record...New Life 1 took the championship this past Saturday..so it was a win win for the church!)

As You Can See...

So as you can see we have a very healthy baby boy. Titus Anthony is now 4 months old! He rolls over, eats cereal, and talks all the time....he is the apple of our eye! He is so precious to us and we can't imagine our lives without him.

It hasn't been quite a year since I posted...

Well I must say it was nice to see that it hasn't been a year since I've been on here. I tried to blog with my tablet but it isn't compatible yet. It was annoying and difficult to email and blog on. Charlie got me a Chrome book and life is happy again. hahaha...its as small as a tablet but a laptop. I love it! So here is almost a year in pictures...
